Incidents are from shifts starting Nov. 14:

15-326647 (Robbery): 200 block of Sutley Cir at 1500 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a robbery. The victim met the suspect regarding the sale of property. Upon meeting, the suspect displayed a handgun, took the victim’s property, and fled on foot.

Incidents are from shifts starting Nov. 13:

15-325203 (Stolen Vehicle ): Brewerton Dr / Truxel Rd at 0122 hours.
Officers were patrolling in the above area when they observed a possible stolen vehicle. Officers stopped the vehicle and upon further investigation, it was determined the vehicle was stolen. The driver was safely detained and arrested for multiple charges.


15-325587 (Robbery): 3200 block of Arena Blvd at 1224 hours.
Officers responded to the call of a robbery. A male suspect entered the business, stole cash and fled. No injuries were reported. The investigation remains active.


15-325776 (Homicide): 100 block of Silver Eagle Rd at 1542 hours.

At approximately 3:24 p.m., the Sacramento Police Department responded to the intersection of Mabel Street and Silver Eagle Road regarding the report of a shooting.

Officers received additional information that the victim’s vehicle, occupied by five juveniles, was driving east-bound on Silver Eagle Road when it stopped at the intersection of Mabel Street. At that time, the unknown suspect(s) fired multiple rounds at the vehicle, striking the driver and the front passenger. The suspect(s) fled the scene in an unknown direction of travel. It is unknown at this time if the suspect(s) were in a vehicle or on foot at the time of the assault.

After the shooting, all of the passengers exited the vehicle. One of the passengers placed the critically-injured driver in the back seat of the car and drove him to the 1400 block of Grand Avenue. Sacramento Fire Department personnel responded and transported the 16-year-old juvenile to an area hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The remaining juveniles hailed an uninvolved, passerby who transported the front passenger to an area hospital where he is being treated for a non-life threatening injury.

Homicide detectives along with Crime Scene Investigators were summoned to the crime scene to begin collecting evidence, and canvassing the area.

A specific motive has not been determined in this incident. The investigation remains very active and no arrests have been made.

Incidents are from shifts starting Nov. 12:

15-324861 (Robbery): 3700 block of Truxel Rd at 1743 hours.
Officers responded to the report of a theft incident to a business. Two male suspects entered the business, collected miscellaneous merchandise and began to exit the premises without attempting to pay. An employee intervened and was assaulted. The suspects fled in a vehicle with the merchandise. Officers checked the area for the suspect vehicle, but were unable to locate it. The investigation remains active.
