Natomas Cops Log – March 19, 2015

Incidents are from shifts starting March 18, 2015:

15-075469 (Robbery): 300 block of W El Camino Ave at 2206 hours.
Officers responded to the above area regarding the report of a robbery. The victim was walking when he was assaulted by an unknown male subject. A struggle ensued and the suspect stole the victim’s phone and keys. The suspect fled the scene on foot prior to officers arriving on scene. Fire personnel responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for his non-life threatening injuries. Officers checked the area for the suspect. The investigation is still on going.


15-075487 (Vandalism): 3500 block of Soda Way at 2231 hours.
Officers responded to the report of a disturbance. The victim was inside her residence when a known suspect threw an object through a window of the residence. No injuries were reported. A report was generated.


15-075494 (Domestic Violence): 4100 block of Innovator Dr at 2240 hours.
Officers responded to the residential area regarding the report of a victim who was allegedly pushed from a third story balcony by a known subject. Fire personnel responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for her injuries. The suspect fled on foot prior to officers arriving on scene. This incident is actively being investigated.


15-075526 (DUI): 6000 block of Bridgecross Dr at 2324 hours.
Officers were patrolling in the area when they observed a vehicle in violation of an infraction. When officers stopped the vehicle they contacted the driver who appeared to be under the influence. After a brief investigation, the driver was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.


15-075360 (Shots Fired): 6000 block of Bridgecross Dr at 2017 hours.

15-074550 (Prowler): 2600 block of Truxel Rd at 0731 hours.
Officers responded to the report of a suspicious subject who was on the back patio of the victim’s residence. Officers arrived on scene and safely detained the man who was ultimately arrested for prowling.


15-075309 (Suspicious Circumstance ): 1700 block of V St at 1922 hours.
Officers responded to the report of a victim who was assaulted yesterday on the bike trail near Northgate Blvd. The victim was riding his bike when he was assaulted by an unknown male suspect who fled the area on a bicycle. Fire personnel responded and transported the victim to an area hospital for his injuries. The victim is in stable condition and the case is actively being investigated.
