Natomas Cops Log – March 18, 2015

Incidents are from shifts starting March 17, 2015:

15-073988 (Outside Agency Assist): 6000 block of Bridgecross Dr at 1633 hours.

15-074288 (Stolen Vehicle ): San Juan Rd / Truxel Rd at 2126 hours.
Officers were patrolling in the area when they observed a stolen vehicle in the area. When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, a pursuit ensued. The suspect vehicle struck a victim vehicle. The victim sustained a non-life threatening injury and was transported to an area hospital. The suspect was safely detained by officers and ultimately arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, evading, and assault with a deadly weapon.

Incidents are from shifts starting March 16, 2015:

15-072995 (Hit and Run): Northgate Blvd / Jefferson Ave at 1810 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a hit and run with minor injuries. Upon arrival, one party involved in the collision had fled the scene on foot, but was later apprehended in the area. The subject was arrested for hit and run and suspicion of DUI.
