Sacramento Police are investigating a fight that took place Friday afternoon during which one man was stabbed.
At about 3:16 p.m. Jan. 23 officers responded to the report of a fight involving several people on the 100 block of Balcaro Way, in front of the Village San Juan Apartment complex, near the intersection of San Juan and Truxel roads in south Natomas.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a victim who had been stabbed multiple times by an unknown suspect.
Witnesses said the stabbing victim was talking and alert. Police said he was transported to a local hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Officers searched the area for the suspect who fled the scene. The investigation is on going.
