Police Seek Natomas Armed Robbery Suspect

The Sacramento Police Department seek the community’s help identifying a man suspected of robbing a check cashing business at gunpoint last week in Natomas.

On April 19 at about 10:30 a.m., officers responded to a call of an armed robbery at Advance America, located at 1510 W. El Camino Avenue.

According to a Sacramento Police Dept. press release, the suspect entered the business armed with a handgun, demanded money and ordered an employee into the safe.

Police said the suspect stole money from the safe, left the store on foot and fled in an unknown direction.

The suspect (pictured) was described as a black man in his 20s, standing 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 140 to 150 pounds, with a thin mustache. Police said the suspect was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, white athletic shoes, and a black ball cap with a possible Adidas logo.
