An unidentified man walked into a Raley’s store in Natomas over the weekend and stole several bottles of cough syrup.
At about 3:14 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, an unknown suspect walked behind the counter of the store pharmacy.
The man reportedly did not say anything to pharmacy workers as he removed four bottles of cough syrup containing codeine.
When the pharmacist tried to stop the man, she was shoved out of the way. The suspect fled the store on foot.
Sacramento police describe the suspect as an adult, black man, age 25 to 30, 5’8” tall, with a stocky build, dark complexion and possible acne scars.
Raley’s is located in the 4600 block of Natomas Boulevard, of Del Paso Road. The investigation is ongoing.
