Inderkum High School boys basketball: The Tigers beat Woodland High School Tuesday, Jan. 15 69-38. Terrence Whiteled Inderkum with 23 points as 10 players scored for the Tigers.

Quentin Davis returned to the team after being cleared by his doctor after suffering a concussion on Jan. 7.

Inderkum (12-7, 2-0 TCC) will play next at home Thursday, Jan. 17 against River Valley High School.

Natomas High boys basketball: The Nighthawks (1-15, 0-2 TCC) lost on the road to River Valley, 71-58, Tuesday. Phillip Morgan and Jamye Morgan both scored 11 points for Natomas High in the loss.

The Nighthawks will play Pioneer High Schoo at home Thursday and should be at full strength with Cameron Graham cleared to play after transferring from Sacramento High.

Pioneer beat four-time defending TCC champions Yuba City High School Tuesday night.

Inderkum High Wrestling: Inderkum lost on the road to Yuba City 41-31 on Tuesday. Ruben Escalante (21-4 record) won by fall at 126 pounds for the Tigers and Jaime Villiar (20-5) at 145 pounds also won by fall for the Tigers.

Both wrestlers also won their weight classes and were named MVP at theEl Camino Tournament on Saturday.

The Tigers will compete at the Tim Brown Invitational Jan. 18-19 at the Sacramento Convention Center.

Natomas High Wrestling: The Nighthawks lost to Woodland High School Tuesday night.
