Public Input Sought For Twin Rivers Superintendent Search

The Twin Rivers Unified School District has scheduled four community forums seeking public input on the search for a new superintendent.

Parents with children in the district, community members, students and Twin Rivers employees are being encouraged to participate as the search for a new superintendent moves forward.

Superintendent Frank Porter retired June 30.

Community forums have been set for:
•  Jan. 12 at 12 p.m., Grant Union High School cafeteria, 1400 Grand Ave., Sacramento.
•  Jan. 12 at 2:30 p.m., Rio Linda High School, 6309 Dry Creek Road, Rio Linda.
•  Jan. 19 at 12 p.m. Highlands High School, 6601 Guthrie Way, North Highlands.
•  Jan. 19 at 2:30 p.m., Foothill High School, 5000 McCloud Drive, Sacramento.

Spanish and Hmong interpreters will be available at the forums.

The Twin Rivers Unified school board is conducting the superintendent search with the help of CPS HR Consulting. The district services approximately 27,000 preschool through adult education students in northern Sacramento County.
