Minnesota-based Buffalo Wild Wings wasted no time starting construction on its new sports bar in Natomas.
Work has already started to repurpose a once-popular dining spot which stood empty for three years.
City officials earlier this month issued a building permit for a new Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant at the Sacramento Gateway shopping center. Plans are for the restaurant to open for business on Dec. 16.
Buffalo Wild Wings is slated to operate a full-service, sit-down restaurant with a full bar at 3600 North Freeway Boulevard. The eatery will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. seven days a week and have the capacity to seat 358 diners.
There are currently 839 Buffalo Wild Wings locations – including restaurants in Citrus Heights and Folsom – across 48 states in the United States and in Canada.
