Fire location corrected 3:40 p.m. 6/26/2012 per info received from the Sacramento Fire Dept.
A grass fire spread to and burned down a home on *Reservoir Road, near Garden Highway* early this morning.
Sacramento Fire Dept. crews were called to the scene of a grass fire that has spread to a structure on the *7600 block of Reservoir Road* at about 1 a.m. Monday, June 26.
Fire officials report the building collapsed as a result of the fire. It is not known whether the home was occupied at the time of the fire, they said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
