On Stage In Natomas: "Source"

Natomas Charter School’s Performing and Fine Arts Academy visual arts students make art come to life in the new show “Source.”

This original performance art piece follows the journey of an artist and his muse.

Directed by visual arts teachers Carrie Markel, Josh Landry, and Chelsea Greninger, “Source” is a collaboration between teachers and students.

The multi-media performance includes shadows, video projection, stop-motion and original music.

“Source” is on stage 4:30 p.m. on March 9, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on March 10 at the Benvenuti Performing Fine Arts Center, 4600 Blackrock Road.

Pre-sale general admission is $10; $8 for students and seniors. At the door general admission is $15; $13 for students and seniors. There is no late seating, and any late arrivals will have to wait until intermission to enter the theater.
