Senator Darrell Steinberg, Vice Mayor Angelique Ashby, the Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency, and California Dept. of Water Resources have teamed up to host a town hall forum on flood control Saturday, Feb. 25 in Natomas.
Area residents are invited to hear updates on flood control work done within the Natomas Basin basin as well as learn about and discuss the proposed 2012 Central Valley Flood Protection Plan.
The meeting is set to start 1 p.m. at the H. Allen Hight education center, 3200 North Park Drive.
