Assemblyman Roger Dickinson presented an oversized check to staff and children at The GreenHouse on Monday, Nov. 7.
The $2,500 grant is a donation from Capitol Network, a non-partisan organization of public and private professionals who work in and around the State Capitol. Capitol Network raises funds each year to distribute to charitable organizations that serve the needs of women and children in California.
The GreenHouse is a non-profit, 501c3 organization located in the Gardenland/Northgate neighborhood which offers after-school tutoring, mentoring, summer day camps, a youth group for teens, leadership development, and skill-building workshops for under-resourced youth.
