The Sacramento Area Firefighters Local 522 union has announced its endorsement of Mayor Kevin Johnson for re-election in 2012.
In a press release issued Monday morning, union officials cite Johnson’s commitment to public safety during his current term as Sacramento mayor for the endorsement.
“Mayor Johnson has demonstrated that he understands ensuring adequate public safety is vital to the protection and well-being of Sacramento residents,” said Ryan Henry, union vice president elect.
