Natomas Cares: Walk Now For Autism Speaks

THE NATOMAS BUZZ | @natomasbuzz

California Gov. Jerry Brown today signed SB 946 making California the 28th state to enact autism insurance reform.
The legislation comes on the heels of the annual Walk Now For Autism Speaks event held earlier in the day. Natomas residents participating in today’s walk included the Wurgler and Infantino families walking as Team Good Days (& Bad Days).
The new legislation signed by Gov. Brown is meant to provide Californians with autism access to behavioral health treatments, including applied behavior analysis therapy.
To date, the Team Good Days (& Bad Days) has raised $1,255 for autism research. To contribute to this Natomas team, click here.
