The Heron School PTSA tonight celebrated the single, most successful fundraiser in the K-8 school’s five-year history, and reported to its members that the 80’s Prom & Auction held last weekend in Natomas raised $22,484.56.
“Amazing. Unbelievable. We can’t thank you enough,” read an e-mail message sent to PTSA members. “Give yourselves a round of applause or a pat on the back. High fives all around!”
The PTSA board issued special thanks to the following parent and teacher volunteers who helped make the event a success: Alma Souksamlane, Richard and Christine Golino, Jonna Filiau, Molly Ibietatorremendia, Alicia Gee, Tony Perez, Mike Calarco, Reina Fresquez-Garcia, Mike Turner and prom chairperson Colleen Stephens.
