Venture Scouting Comes To Natomas

Co-Ed Scouting Program Topic Of Monday Meeting
THE NATOMAS BUZZ | @natomasbuzz
You’ve heard about Cub Scouts and Boys Scouts, but what about Venture Scouts?
An informational meeting about Venturing will be held 7 p.m. on August 22 at Camp Pollock, off of Northgate Blvd. near the American River and Highway 160. Venturing is a Scouting program for young men – and women – ages 14 to 20 years old.
No previous Scouting experience is necessary, but Boy Scouts who are still working on their Eagle and Girls Scouts who are working on their Gold Award may actively participate with their Troop, while joining a Venturing Crew for a new level of fun and adventure.
There are several Venturing Crews in the Sacramento region, but none in the Natomas or North Sacramento neighborhoods.

For more information about the meeting next week, please call unit organizer Chris McSwain at (916) 335-5639 or e-mail [email protected]. To learn more about Venturing, visit www.scouting.org/scoutsource/Venturing/About/venturing.aspx.
