The Natomas Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual member meeting and elections during a mixer on Thursday.

The Natomas Chamber of Commerce has been an active participant in talks surrounding plans for a new sports complex and recently held a business walk to gauge the local economy.

The session is a chance for non member to learn about the chamber while networking with owners of other Natomas businesses. Elections for the board of directors will also be held; nominations will be accepted.
Already nominated and vying for spots on the board are: Ed Koop of Fastsigns, Priscilla Parker of University of Phoenix, Michele Bushilla of Umpqua Bank and Jose Luis Garcia of The Garcia Group at Comstock Mortgage, Franklin Jackson of Walmart, and Steve McPherson of California College & Career Technical Center.
The chamber’s board is made up of 12 members. Each year, six seats are elected to serve a two-year term. The mixer will follow the elections.

The meeting is set for 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on June 23 at the Hilton Garden Inn-South Natomas, 2540 Venture Oaks Way. Admission is free for members and $10 for non members.
