WE COULDN’T LOCATE THE ANTENNAE CHRIS WROTE ABOUT, BUT SPOTTED SEVERAL ALONG DEL PASO ROAD, INCLUDING THIS ONE PHOTOGRAPHED AT THE CORNER OF BLACKROCK.
“There are antenna like things that are being attached to traffic lights. They look like wifi network antennas. There is one on the intersection of Club Center and Danbrook/Regency Park Circle near the fire station. Anyone know what’s up?”

“According to the manager of the street light maintenance department; these devices are repeaters for water meters that the City of Sacramento’s Department of Utilities has installed. PG&E also has installed a few to read their smart meters.”
