Natomas Cares: Businesses Honored

NAPA AUTO PARTS EMPLOYEES ACCEPT A STAR AWARD FROM STEVE HEATH, PRESIDENT & CEO OF UNITED WAY CALIFORNIA CAPITAL REGION.

Two Natomas companies received awards from United Way California Capital Region at a private awards ceremony followed by a Sacramento Kings basketball game on March 29.

Comcast of Natomas received the Outstanding Campaign Increase – Large Company Award  and Natomas’ NAPA Auto Parts received the Outstanding Campaign Committee Star Award. Eleven companies in all were recognized during the event.

PHILIP ARNDT OF COMCAST ACCEPTS AWARD

“Comcast raised more than $63,000, more than doubling employee giving and going from 130 donors last year to more than 400 this year,” said Steve Heath, president and CEO, United Way California Capital Region. “NAPA Auto Parts’ campaign team of four planned a week of activities to promote giving, which increased the campaign from $5,000 last year to $8,000 this year.”
United Way California Capital Region is an independent, local affiliate of United Way Worldwide.
