The Natomas Community Association will elect a new board 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 26.
The NCA is a volunteer, non-profit organization that strives to improve the quality of life in Natomas. The group’s goals are to:
- improve the quality of life of all residents by advocating well-planned growth and by researching, monitoring, and analyzing issues important to the Natomas community.
- promote Natomas citizen awareness of community issues and advance resident involvement in governmental decision making processes.
- provide a forum for the exchange of information and ideas concerning both resident and community issues.
- bring community members together in a social environment to support charitable and beneficial activities in the Natomas community.
- act as an advocate on community issues involving local government, area developers, and the media.
