Preliminary reports from SacPD this morning are a child has been hit by a vehicle in the vicinity of Witter Ranch Elementary School. Injuries have been reported, but the severity is not known at this time.
UPDATE: A 7-year-old girl, who is a student at the school, reportedly ran into a moving vehicle on Poppy Hill Way. She sustained minor injuries and was taken home by her father.
