The Witter Ranch Community Alliance (WRCA), in partnership with volunteers with Sacramento Fire Department’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), went door-to-door on some streets in WRCA’s boundary Saturday, educating neighbors about both volunteer organizations and demonstrating how to shut off gas, power, and water to their homes in the event of a disaster or emergency. They will be out in force again today.
