Natomas Family Hopes To Bring Ivan "Home"

A Natomas family of five hopes to save this orphan from being institutionalized and bring him home from Eastern Europe.

Ivan was born in 2006 with a condition called hydrocephalus. Because of his defect, he is scheduled to be sent to a Level 4 mental institution for children.

“We are in the final stages of the adoption paperwork process, we are just in need of the funds to bring Ivan home,” says Danielle, already a mother of three children ages 11 months to 6 years old. “The director of the orphanage that he is at right now has agreed to hold off on the transfer because of our commitment to adopt him.”
“I am not sure what is going to happen next month when he turns 5, hopefully they will hold onto him a little longer.”

Danielle write a blog, Saving Ivan, documenting her family’s adoption effort. All donations are tax-deductible and go through a 501(c)3 registered adoption ministry called Reece’s Rainbow.
