For A Good Cause: Natomas Bike Rides For All

The North Natomas Transportation Management Association continues its series of neighborhood bike rides this weekend and into fall.
June 26 – Clarksburg Ride
(30 miles)
Beginning at Delta High School, just south of Natomas in Clarksburg along the Sacramento River, ride through thousands of acres of vineyards. Continue on following a slough, then cross over the Walnut Grove Bridge, nab refreshments and meander through the historic town of Locke.

September 4 – North & South Natomas Ride
(20 miles)
Enjoy all that North and South Natomas has to offer, experiencing many bike paths along the way.  Refreshments provided by the TMA.

October 2 – Larkspur to SF
(31 miles)
Explore beautiful San Francisco while experiencing a ferry trip across the bay, inmates exercising at San Quentin, the Ferry building farmer’s market, Crissy Field and more. Nothing compares to the exhilaration of cycling across the Golden Gate Bridge back to Larkspur.
September 10-12 – Emigrant Trails Bike Trek
Join the Natomas Flyers team in Petaluma for a weekend of cycling, camping, and fun. Full on-road support, catered meals, snacks and entertainment are all provided. After a day of cycling, relax in camp with yoga, a massage, snacks or a refreshing beverage from the cantina. This adventure costs $35 to register and a minimum of $450 in pre-collected tax-deductable donations and will support grassroots programs to fight teenage smoking, asthma and dirty air.
Always bring water, a helmet, and an extra bike tube. No need to RSVP – just show up! For details and more information contact the North Natomas TMA at 419-9955.
