A Black Bear Diner is under construction near West El Camino and El Centro Road in South Natomas, the first of it’s kind in Sacramento! We hear they have yummy cobbler.

What a GREAT addition! The Black Bear Diner is a great place…as long as you’re no overly-concerned with heart-healthy fare! (although they do offer some “healthier” choices). We’ve enjoyed the Black Bear in Salinas and Davis for years. Always good service, good food and plenty of it! Their breakfasts’ are awesome! Their plate-sized Chicken Fried Steak is incredible…large enough to split. They can’t open soon enough for me!
I’ve been wondering what they were building there. I assumed it was a fast food restaurant. Thanks for clearing up that mystery for me!
OMG! We at at one while on a road trip last summer. Their blue cheese hamburgers are to die for. The decore is fun and kept the kids amused.
