Services, Memorial Fund Set For Slain Teacher

Funeral services have been set and a memorial fund established for Salvador Heredia-Arriaga, a Natomas High School football coach and substitute teacher who was slain Friday night during a home-invasion robbery in South Natomas.
Services for Heredia-Arriaga, 26, will be 10 a.m. on April 1, at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, 1017 11th St., in Sacramento.
Heredia-Arriaga is survived by his parents, Sal and Susan, his brother Richard, grandparents Samuel and Ann Heredia, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Salvador Heredia-Arriaga Memorial Football Scholarship Fund (Natomas High School), c/o Natomas Unified School District, 1901 Arena Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95834.
