Input Sought In New Superintendent Search

The Natomas Unified School District board of trustees selected Dave Long & Associates Executive Search Services as its adviser to assist in the search for a new superintendent.

One of the first tasks in the search and selection process is to determine the specific traits, skills, abilities, and experience desired in the district’s new superintendent.

The board of trustees believes it is important to get input from the district’s key communicators and would like to invite you to meet with Dr. Wendell Chun, Adviser, to offer what you consider to be the criteria desired in the new superintendent.

Appointments can be scheduled individually or as a group. Please call Dolly McClellan at 567-5401 to schedule a time on February 22nd or February 23rd at the Education Center in the Board Conference Room.

Other opportunities to provide input are: 1) A community forum will be held at Inderkum High School, 2500 New Market Drive, in the theater on February 22nd from 6:30 p.m. to 9 pm; 2) Superintendent Search Questionnaires are available at district schools and at the Education Center located at 1901 Arena Blvd., as well as posted on our District’s web site.

You are also welcome to email Dolly at or send comments to: Dr. Wendell Chun and Dr. Elaine Collins, Advisers, c/o Ms. Dolly McClellan, Executive Assistant to the Superintendent, Natomas Unified School District, 1901 Arena Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95834.
