Updated: Arrest Made In South Natomas Murder

UPDATE – The Sacramento Police Department has arrested 23-year-old Robert Neal-Anderson, for the murder of victim David Maxey of Sacramento. Investigators believe Neal-Anderson and the victim knew each other, however those details as well as a motive are still being investigated.


Sac PD is investigating the murder of a 60-year-old South Natomas man.

At 11:21 p.m. Friday night, Sac PD received reports of a disturbance in the 2600 block of Stonecreek Drive. When officers arrived, the victim inside his apartment with some visible trauma. He was declared dead at the scene by Sac Fire Department personnel.

Homicide and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene. Due to the ongoing investigation details of the homicide are not being released at this time.
