The Kiwanis Club of Natomas has donated 40 cases — or 200,000 sheets — of paper to the Natomas Unified School District. The school district, which has had to cut school supply budgets because of the state budget crisis, plans to use the paper for trimester benchmark assessments of K-8 students to help prepare students for spring standardized tests.

Comments

  1. Big mistake delivering it to the district office. It should have been delivered directly to each of the schools. As it is now, it will never reach the schools! Nice gesture for sure, but a bad plan of action, I’m sorry to say.

  2. School sites have not seen ANY of this paper. We have also not seen the assessments. We’ve been unable to copy off basic assignments, remedial work, or assessments (and lets not talk about homework) since the beginning of the year.
