Natomas Dinner MyWay Set To Close

After two years in business, the Dinner MyWay franchise in Natomas will close, owners Allen & Anna Benz announced today via e-mail to their customers. Reads the message:

“Unfortunately, with tough economic times we are forced to close our Dinner MyWay – Natomas franchise. As the months have progressed we have seen how the economy has taken a toll on many of our regular guest’s household budgets and they are now not able to return.”

Dinner MyWay originally opened its doors in a retail space off Gateway and later moved to a long-vacant spot in the Park Place II shopping center. Most recently, Dinner MyWay teamed up with Expressions In Chocolate to share the space off Natomas Boulevard which included a play area for customers with children.

Plans are to continue operating the franchise through June 25.

This is so sad. Dinner My Way has been an amazing contributor in this community, helping with youth programs and neighborhood fundraisers.

    It is a tremendous loss.

Thank you guys for all you have given.

  2. What a disappointment. I buy from them monthly and they will be missed.

  3. Such a disappointment. Great community members, excellent customer service and really family friendly! I’m so disappointed to lose them and also crushed we’ll have another vacancy in that center.

  4. So sad. My wife and I really enjoyed their dessert offerings but if your customer stream dries up then what do you do?

Support local businesses or we’ll all be driving a long way to shop and there will be no support for our community events.

When you shop for a “better” deal outside the community, remember, the company you’re buying from does not give back to your community so the deal better be outstanding!
