You Asked, We Got The Answer

There seems to be some construction starting at E. Commerce and Greg Thatch. Heard it was zoned commercial. Any one know what type of retail will be allowed?

I think you are referring to the corner of East Commerce and Macon, which is on the east side. That site is zoned commercial and was approved for a child care facility and small retail pad. Please let me know if you meant the east side of East Commerce instead of the west side. Staking and grading has just begun on this site for commercial uses.

  1. Lindsey, yes I was referrring to the east side of E. Commerce. Thank you for the information. Do you have additional information on which child ccare facility and what kind of retail?

  2. Last night at National Night Out we got several questions about the construction at East Commerce and Macon at North Natomas. Construction is well under way for a 15,413 square foot child care / learning center and a 5,100 square foot retail pad. The developer was hoping to have “Tutor Time” as the child care tenant, but did not have a retail tenant lined up yet. This is one of the few projects that received planning entitlements and a building permit prior to the new FEMA regulations.
