The North Natomas Bike & Accessory Rebate program was designed to get people out of their cars and onto their bikes, improving air quality and easing traffic congestion.
This year’s program opened Feb. 1 with $7,500 in available funding and for the first time, the North Natomas Transportation Management Association are accepting applications for children’s bicycles.
All funding is available on a first-come first-served basis with the receipt of each qualified application. A committee of board, staff and community members review all applications as they arrive. There is normally a two week response time after the application is received before the potential recipient is notified of the outcome.
