UPDATED: Natomas School Board Grapples With Budget

The Natomas Unified School District‘s board of trustees last night held a budget workshop.

According to trustee Lisa Kaplan, the district has already trimmed $2 million from its budget but needs to cut an additional $7 million by June.

A public hearing will be held 6 p.m. on March 2 at Bannon Creek Elementary School about proposed cuts, including whether or not to open H. Allen Hight Middle School.
