THE BUZZ just learned that one of our fave Natomas-owned and operated businesses — Sunshine’s Hip Baby children’s clothing boutique — closed its shop next door to Jack’s Urban Eats last weekend.
But Sunshine herself says loyal shoppers should not fret. Hip Baby still operates as an online store and, better yet, offers free shipping to its customers!
Tough for small businesses to compete with all the big box stores… especially in this economy. If you want to get into retail in Sac city, buy a Target.
Sad for us as Hip Baby was one of the first retailers in that strip mall…Trixie
