First Pitch, Er, Parade Of The Season!

On Saturday, April 5, the North Natomas Little League will be having their 4th Annual Opening Day Parade in the Regency Park Community.

On Saturday morning, around 8 a.m., neighbors of Regency Park Elementary School will begin to notice families, teams, fire trucks, a school marching band, etc. gathering in the parking lot, on the playground, and along streets near the school.

At approximately 9 a.m., the City of Sacramento Police Department will begin to temporarily close Bridgecross Drive west of the school to Honor
Parkway, then south on Honor Parkway to Jerry Littel, to make way for the parade.

The league invites the residents of Regency Park to grab a cup of coffee and come out on the porch to watch the parade and enjoy this wonderful celebration of our community’s efforts to support the nearly 650 boys and girls participating in Little League this season.

The parade is scheduled to start promptly at 9:06 a.m. and street closures should last about 60 minutes with follow-up activities at the school going on for the remainder of the day. Click here for a map of the parade route.
