Volunteers Needed For Natomas Community Planning Advisory Council

Volunteers are needed to fill four spots on the Natomas Community Planning Advisory Council.

The purpose of the council is to participate in the Sacramento County planning process and to review and propose community goals and objectives. It is located within the boundaries of the 1st Supervisorial District.

There are four seats to be filled by residents of the area as follows: three due to the resignations of J. Chase, J. Eichman and A. Priego and one due to the current expired term of D. Kawada, who is eligible for reappointment upon receipt of a new application.

The application filing period will be on a continuous basis and will be considered by the Board of Supervisors on Feb. 13.

For further information regarding the functions of this council, please contact Michelle Preslar at 874-7910.

The Clerk of the Board prepares a list of current and upcoming board and commission vacancies every month.

This list provides a brief description of the function of the board or commission, the number of vacancies and types of members needed, a contact person to answer questions and the filing dates when the Clerk’s office will be accepting applications.

This monthly update is posted on the web site and copies are posted at all library branches.
