SacPD Crime Report for Feb. 2 to Feb. 10

4451 Gateway Park
Victim’s vehicle was parked in the Terracina Gold apartment complex. The victim went outside and interrupted two burglars as they were stealing items from his car. The suspects fled upon seeing the victim. A description of the suspect vehicle was broadcasted to the responding Beat Officers. A matching vehicle was spotted a short time later and stopped by officers. The driver and passenger were subsequently arrested for auto burglary.

2-08-08, Day Shift, Traffic Enforcement,
Northborough Drive & Dunlay Drive
POP Traffic Officer worked the area of Northborough Drive & Dunlay Drive due to neighborhood complaints about speeding. The POP Officer issued five (5) citations for moving violations.

2-10-08 at 2 a.m., Fatal Auto Accident
Truxel/San Juan

Vehicle was headed northbound on Truxel Road at San Juan, when the driver lost control and struck a tree. Driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. Traffic Investigators were called out to handle the scene.

Follow-up Investigation:
The robbery suspect from Pannu’s Pizza Parlor has been identified as a 17-year old who resided in the Regency Park neighborhood. This same juvenile is also wanted for two additional armed robberies and a shooting that took place at the Marconi Light Rail system. He is still not in custody and the Police Department’s Gang Unit is currently
looking for him.
