The City of Sacramento is looking for committed individuals to serve on city boards and commissions. The city is now accepting applications for the following commissions:
- Sacramento Youth Commission: This commission advises the council on issues affecting youth in Sacramento.
- Small Business Development & Employment Advisory Board: This board reviews the achievements of the City’s emerging and small business development program, and provide an annual report to the Mayor and City Council containing comments and recommendations.
- Sacramento Commission of History and Science: This commission analyzes sites and landmarks of historic and scientific important and other related works, analyzes the annual budget for the Division, and provides an annual review to the Board and to the council of collections and archives managed by the division.
- Sacramento Housing & Redevelopment Commission: This commission advises the City Council and the Board of Supervisors on housing and redevelopment programs for the city and county.
