Is it just me or has there been an increased police presence in North Natomas? Seems like ever since the Natomas Park Master Association hired Paladin to provide around-the-clock security patrols in the neighborhood, more Sac PD units have been sighted cruising the ‘hood and even citing traffic violators!
Just out of curiosity, I put my address into KCRA 3’s Crime Tracker site to see how the numbers compare to earlier this year. From 9/2007 to 11/2007 the following crimes were reported within 400 meters — or a quarter mile — of my house:
- Burglary 4
- Theft 3
- Aggravated Assault 3
- Stolen Vehicle 2
- Traffic Offense 2
- Assault 2
- Property Damage 1
Unfortunately, the numbers show a few incidents within a block of where I live and a higher number of crimes since last I checked.
