22-297389 (Theft – Investigation): 2200 Block of Tanzanite Ave at 1824 hours.
Officers responded to a report of theft. The suspect stole the victim’s personal property and then fled the area. A crime report was generated.
22-297589 (Shooting – Investigation): 4900 Block of Duckhorn Dr at 2224 hours.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting. A building appeared to have been struck by gunfire however no injuries were reported. Officers canvassed the area for evidence and witnesses. A crime report was generated.

(Robbery): 3800 block of Duckhorn Drive at 1031 hours.
A victim was robbed at gunpoint. The suspect took money from the victim and personal property, then fled the scene. Responding officers conducted a thorough canvas of the area and did not locate the suspect.
Oct. 19, 2022
(Vandalism in Progress): 400 block of Mill Valley Circle at 1844 hours.
A subject (suspect) was acting erratically and vandalized multiple properties. At one point, the suspect was in a yard vandalizing the property. The homeowner opened his door to see what was happening and the suspect violently attacked him. To protect himself, the homeowner shot the suspect. Responding officers made contact with the suspect and rendered aid. He was transported to the hospital for his injuries. He is currently in police custody. Once he is medically cleared, he will be booked for charges related to this incident.
(Firearm & Narcotic Arrest): 800 block of W El Camino Avenue at 2044 hours.
North Problem Oriented Policing Officers observed a subject acting suspicious and discard a satchel. The subject was safely detained and inside the satchel was a handgun, 100 ecstasy pills, an extended firearm magazine and a drum firearm magazine (see photo). The subject was arrested for the firearm and narcotics sales.

(Shooting Investigation): 2200 block of Arena Boulevard at 0031 hours.
A resident observed a subject breaking into his vehicle. The suspect fled on foot and then a vehicle. As the suspect drove off, a gunshot was heard. Responding officers conducted a thorough canvas of the area. Information was gathered on the suspect and involved vehicle.

(Auto Theft Arrest): San Juan Road and Northgate Boulevard at 1107 hours.
Officers located a stolen vehicle in the area after it traveled through a Police Observation Device. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a passenger attempted to walk away. This passenger was safely detained, along with the driver. The passenger was arrested for a felony warrant and the driver was arrested for narcotic sales.

(Felony Evading Arrest): Northgate Boulevard and W El Camino Avenue at 1857 hours.
Officers observed a suspect driving a vehicle who recently fled from officers. The officers made a traffic stop and the driver was detained and arrested for felony evading.

(Shooting Investigation): 700 block of Northview at 1351 hours.
Officers responded to the area regarding multiple reports of a shooting. Responding officers located significant evidence of a shooting. There were no reported injuries as a result of this incident. Officers completed a thorough canvas of the area and the investigation remains active.
(Felony Assault Arrest): 3200 block of Beretania Way at 1611 hours.
Officers responded to a report of a male driving a vehicle and attempting to intentionally collide into separate vehicle occupied by a female. After receiving updates on the location of the victim, responding officers were able to locate the suspect and safely detain him. The suspect was arrested for this incident and a previous assault that occurred two days prior to this crime.

(Shooting Investigation): 2900 block of Weald Way at 1849 hours.
Officers responded to the area due to a report of a shooting. As officers arrived, they located a male adult who sustained a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for serious injuries. The suspect(s) fled the scene prior to officers arriving. Officers completed a thorough canvas of the area to look for any potential evidence. This shooting investigation remains active.

(Vehicle Pursuit): Truxel Road and Blue Heron at 0028 hours.
Officers observed a driver traveling recklessly and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The driver failed to yield, and a vehicle pursuit was initiated. The driver eventually yielded, and officers safely detained him. He was arrested for the pursuit and parole violation.

(Felony Assault Arrest): 3200 block of Northgate Blvd at 1257 hours.
A subject was inside a business and caused a disturbance, then approached an employee with a knife after being told to leave. Responding officers safely detained the suspect and she was arrested for this incident.
(Vehicle Pursuit): Northgate Boulevard and Rosin Court at 1857 hours.
Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the area. The driver failed to yield, and a vehicle pursuit was initiated. Due to the driver traveling recklessly, for the safety of the community, the vehicle pursuit was canceled. Officers have completed follow up investigation to identify the driver of this pursuit.

(Vehicle Pursuit): 2200 block of Atrisco Circle at 0022 hours.
A patrol officer attempted to stop a vehicle that was reported stolen. The driver fled and a vehicle pursuit was initiated. The driver traveled to a business complex on Natomas Park Drive, then the driver and passenger fled on foot. A perimeter was established, and the occupants were not located.

(Robbery): 200 block of Ainger Circle at 0049 hours.
Two victims were robbed at gunpoint. The suspects were armed with handguns and took personal property from the victims. Officers conducted a thorough canvas of the area. Detectives from our Neighborhood Crimes Unit continue to conduct follow-up investigation on this robbery.

(Shooting Investigation): 1600 block of W El Camino Avenue at 1913 hours.
Officers responded to a disturbance with a large group of people fighting. One person fired a firearm in the air. A responding patrol officer attempted to contact a subject who may have been responsible for the shooting. The subject fled on foot. After a short foot pursuit, the subject was safely detained. There were no reported injuries as a result of the shooting.

(Shooting Investigation): 1500 block of Waterwheel Drive at 9:57 a.m.
Officers responded to the area due to a report of a subject shot. Responding officers contacted a 16-year-old who sustained one gunshot wound. The shooting victim was transported to a local hospital for a non-life-threatening injury. Based on follow-up investigation while on scene, officers determined this was an isolated incident.
(Parolee at Large & Bike Theft Arrest): 2300 block of Northgate Boulevard at 1958 hours.
A victim had a bike stolen along with a backpack that had personal property inside. The officers learned that the suspect was in the area. A patrol officer located the suspect in the 3400 block of Binghampton Drive. The suspect was uncooperative and fled from the officer. A perimeter was established, and the suspect was eventually located. He was safely detained, and a computer check showed him to be a parolee at large. The backpack was recovered.

(Felony Assault): Northgate Boulevard and American River Bike Trail at 2212 hours.
There was a disturbance at a homeless camp. One involved person assaulted another person involved in the disturbance. The suspect used brass knuckles during the assault. The victim sustained facial injuries. The suspect fled the scene prior to officers arriving. The area was checked, and the suspect was not located.
(Auto Theft Arrest): Garden Highway and Interstate 5 at 2356 hours.
A patrol officer made a traffic stop in the area. The vehicle did not have any license plates. A check of the Vehicle Identification Number revealed the vehicle was reported stolen. The driver was arrested for auto theft. A computer check showed him to have an outstanding felony warrant.
22-276218 (Vehicle Collision): San Juan Rd / Truxel Rd at 1403 hours.
Officers responded to a report of a collision involving a scooter and a vehicle. The scooter operator sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Officers conducted a collision investigation that will be documented in a report.

(Carjacking & Vehicle Pursuit): 2600 block of Stonecreek Drive at 1231 hours.
A suspect violently carjacked a vehicle from a female victim. Responding officers located the vehicle and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The suspect fled from officers and a vehicle pursuit was initiated. The suspect collided into the center median in the area of Gateway Oaks and Garden Highway. Then, the suspect fled on foot from the vehicle. Officers safely detained him without using force. The suspect was arrested on related charges in addition to a recent domestic violence incident.

(Shooting Investigation): 2200 block of Northgate Boulevard at 2027 hours.
During an altercation at a business in the area, a suspect fired a handgun. There were no reported injuries, and the suspect fled the scene prior to officers responding. Officers located significant evidence to confirm a handgun was fired. This investigation remains active.

(Firearm Arrest): Northview Drive and W El Camino Avenue at 2020 hours.
Gang Officers made a traffic stop in the area. The driver was in possession of a loaded handgun (see photo). Officers safety detained the driver and arrested him for firearm related charges.

(Homicide Investigation): 2200 block of San Juan Road at 2300 hours.
Sacramento Police Department patrol officers responded to a report that two subjects had been shot. When officers arrived on scene, they located two victims that had been shot inside a parked vehicle. Officers attempted life-saving measures but both victims were pronounced deceased at the scene by responding personnel from the Sacramento Fire Department. One victim was an adult male and the second victim was a teenage male. Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators responded to take over the investigation. They processed the scene, canvassed the area, and interviewed witnesses. The circumstances of this incident remain under investigation. There is no suspect information to provide at this time. The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office identified the victim in this incident as Carlos Garcia, 17.
(Stolen Vehicle Arrest): Northfield Drive and Northview Drive at 1940 hours.
A stolen vehicle was located in the area. Officers attempted a traffic stop and the occupants fled on foot. The driver and a passenger were safely detained. They were arrested on related charges. One passenger escaped and officers checked the area. The additional passenger was not located.

(Vehicle Pursuit): Northgate Boulevard and W El Camino Avenue at 2045 hours.
A patrol officer attempted to stop a vehicle for a violation. The driver fled from the officer and a vehicle pursuit was initiated. Due to the suspect driving recklessly, the officer canceled the pursuit. The driver fled and the vehicle was not located.

(Hit and Run Arrest): Spaletta Way and Regency Park Circle at 0702 hours.
Officers responded to this location regarding a hit and run. Officers received information that an involved vehicle was taken during a carjacking that occurred in Oakland. Officers conducted thorough follow up investigation and identified multiple suspects. This information was passed on to Oakland PD for additional follow up investigation.

(Robbery): 2900 block of Benefit Way at 2017 hours.
Multiple victims were robbed at gunpoint. The suspect stole personal property from the victims, then fired multiple rounds from a handgun. There was property damage from the shooting. There were no reported injuries. Officers conducted follow up investigation and did not locate the suspects. Further follow up investigation will be completed on this case.
(Shooting Investigation): 2800 block of Mendel Way at 2056 hours.
Dispatch received multiple calls of shots being fired in the area. Responding officers located significant evidence to confirm a shooting did occur. During a preliminary investigation, officers gathered pertinent information for further follow up investigation. There were no reported injuries, and the investigation is ongoing.

(Vehicle Pursuit): W El Camino Avenue and Stonecreek Drive at 1738 hours.
Gang Officers attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area. The driver fled from officers and a vehicle pursuit was initiated. The driver travelled recklessly, so for the safety of the community, officers discontinued to pursue the vehicle.
(Shooting Investigation): 2400 block of Seamist Drive at 1457 hours.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting. Responding officers located significant evidence to confirm a shooting occurred. There were no reported injuries as a result of the shooting. Officers conducted a canvas of the area, and the investigation remains active.
(Attempted Robbery): 3200 block of Truxel Road at 1643 hours.
Multiple suspects approached a female and attempted to snatch personal property from her. The suspects fled the scene after the crime. Officers conducted a canvas of the area, and the suspects were not located.

22-264253 (Burglary – Investigation): 2300 Block of Northgate Blvd at 0442 hours.
Officers responded to a report of a burglary. The suspects forced entry into a closed business and stole items from inside. The suspects fled prior to police arrival. A crime report was generated.
22-265064 (Traffic Stop – Gun Arrest): W El Camino Ave / Truxel Rd at 2027 hours.
Officers conducted an enforcement stop on a vehicle. During the investigation, a firearm and evidence of narcotics sales was located. Two occupants were arrested for weapons and narcotics violations.

Officers responded to a report of multiple subjects breaking into a business. The suspects fled the scene prior to officers arriving. Officers conducted a thorough canvas and also located graffiti inside the business.
22-263555 (Stolen Vehicle – Arrest): Northgate Blvd / San Juan Rd at 1114 hours.
Officers located an occupied stolen vehicle and conducted an enforcement stop. The occupants were safely detained, and the driver was arrested for stolen vehicle-related charges.

Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The suspects, who were armed with a firearm, stole property from the victim and then fled the area. A crime report was generated

(Shooting Investigation): Northgate Boulevard and Del Paso Boulevard at 2015 hours.
A subject was shot and sustained a non-life-threatening injury. He was connected to a large camp of people experiencing homelessness. The victim was transported to a local hospital. Officers conducted a thorough canvas of the area and the suspect was not located.

Officers responded to the area regarding reports of a robbery. Officers located and arrested two subjects as they were attempting to flee.

Officers responded to the area regarding reports of an assault and robbery. The suspect assaulted the victim and threatened her with a knife, prior to stealing property from her. Officers canvassed the area and conducted a preliminary investigation. The investigation is on-going.

Officers located an occupied stolen vehicle. During their investigation, they located a loaded handgun and narcotics. The suspect was safely detained and arrested on related charges.

Officers responded to the area regarding a subject wearing a trench coat, with a concealed handgun. Officers detained the subject and recovered a registered firearm.

(Shooting Investigation): 3000 block of Meadow Run Walk at 0349 hours.
Officers responded to the area regarding a report of a shooting where a vehicle and home were struck. Officers canvassed the area and conducted a preliminary investigation. The investigation is ongoing.
(Side Show Enforcement): Several locations throughout the city at 2100 hours.
North Command’s Problem Oriented Policing Team organized a side show enforcement operation. 35 officers from multiple agencies worked diligently throughout the city. They made 42 arrests, seized 1 firearm, issued 60 citations, and towed 36 vehicles.
(Firearm Arrest): W El Camino Avenue and Truxel Road at 2027 hours.
Gang Officers made a traffic stop. The two occupants were found to be in possession of two firearms, a significant amount of amphetamines, heroin, marijuana and cash (see photo). The suspects, both convicted felons, were arrested for firearm related charges and narcotic sales.
Sept. 8, 2022
(Assault on an Officer): 3500 block of N Freeway Boulevard at 2345 hours.
Security called Dispatch to have officers issue a notice of trespass. A responding officer attempted to contact the subject and he was uncooperative. The subject threw multiple punches at the officer. After a brief struggle, the subject was arrested for assault on an officer and felony resisting.

(Firearm Arrest): Northgate Boulevard and Rosin Court at 0145 hours.
A patrol officer made a traffic stop at this location. A 15-year-old passenger was in possession of a rifle (see photo). This subject was safely detained and arrested for the firearm.
(Resisting Arrest): 2400 block of Northgate Boulevard at 1841 hours.
Officers responded to a business in the area to assist with a subject sleeping in front of the store. A computer check showed the subject to have a felony warrant. As officers attempted to detain the subject, he was uncooperative and combative. He was safely detained and arrested.

22-250661 (Shooting – Investigation): 2900 Block of Trap Rock Way at 1926 hours.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting. Two subjects were involved in a disturbance and during that disturbance, a third subject fired a gun. After the shooting, one of the original involved subjects fled the area in a vehicle. Officers conducted an enforcement stop on that subject and located a firearm during their investigation. The driver of that vehicle was issued a citation for weapons violations. The third subject who fired the gun fled the scene after the incident. No injuries were reported, and officers canvassed the area for evidence and witnesses. A crime report was generated.

(Felony Assault & Vehicle Pursuit): 3200 block of Northgate Boulevard at 2325 hours.
Officers responded to a report of an assault in the area. When officers arrived, they attempted to make contact with an involved suspect, and he fled in a vehicle. As a result, a vehicle pursuit was initiated. The pursuit traveled to the area of Rio Linda and Sonoma when the suspect collided into an occupied vehicle. A police K9 was deployed, and the suspect was safely detained.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting. One male adult victim was located at the scene and was transported to a hospital for treatment. He was last reported to be in stable condition. The suspect(s) fled the area after the incident. A crime report was generated.

A patrol officer made contact with a subject inside a vehicle in the area. The officer observed a loaded handgun in plain view (see photo). The subject was safely detained and arrested for the firearm.

Officers responded to a robbery at gunpoint. The victim was approached by a suspect who was armed with a handgun. The suspect took personal property from the victim and fled the scene. Officers completed a canvas, and the investigation is ongoing.

Officers responded to the area due to a report of a large fight. Then, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 1400 block of Brewerton Drive. Significant evidence of a shooting was located, and the investigation remains active. There were no reported injuries.

A victim was robbed at gunpoint of his personal property. The suspect fled the scene after the robbery. Officers conducted a thorough canvas of the area and the investigation is ongoing.

(Shooting Investigation): American Avenue and Cleveland Avenue at 1406 hours.
Officers responded to this area due to a report of a female subject who was shot. Responding officers contacted the victim who was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A canvas was completed, and the investigation is ongoing.

(Collision & DUI Arrest): Del Paso Boulevard & Northgate Boulevard at 0233 hours.
Officers responded to a vehicle collision in the area. The driver was DUI and arrested. There were no reported injuries as a result of the collision.

22-239413 (Death Investigation): 1600 Block of Baines Ave at 1500 hours.
Officers responded to a medical aid call. The fire department had responded and a subject was located deceased. Officers conducted a death investigation and no suspicious circumstances were observed. A coroner responded to take over the investigation.
August 25, 2022
(Attempted Robbery): Peregrine Park at 0922 hours.
A male suspect pointed a handgun at a victim and demanded personal property. The suspect did not get any personal property and fled the area. The victim was not injured. Responding officers completed a canvas of the area and the investigation remains active.
(Vehicle Burglary & Arrest): 3200 block of Truxel Road at 1709 hours.
A caller reported a vehicle casing cars in the area. Officers responded and there was an additional report of a vehicle burglary. Responding officers located the suspect vehicle and made a traffic stop. The suspects were in possession of property that was stolen during the vehicle burglary. They were safely detained and arrested on related charges.
August 23, 2022
(Multiple Vehicle Burglaries): 2900 block of Advantage Way at 0829 hours.
Four vehicles were burglarized in the area. A thorough canvas was completed, and the investigation remains active.
(Criminal Threats Arrest): 2300 block of Northgate Boulevard at 2206 hours.
A person experiencing homelessness was setting up camp in the area. He was approached by a an employee of a nearby business concerned about the camp being set up. The person experiencing homelessness, while armed with a knife, threated the employee. Responding officers safely detained the suspect and he was arrested.

Officers responded to the area due to a report of shots fired. Responding officers located significant evidence of a shooting. There were no reported injuries. A canvas was completed, and the investigation remains active.
August 21, 2022
(Firearm Arrest): 3000 block of Funston Drive at 2328 hours.
Patrol Officers made a traffic stop at this location. The driver was in possession of a loaded handgun (see photo). Officers safely detained the driver. He was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm and additional firearm charges.
August 20, 2022
(Burglary): 3600 block of N Freeway Boulevard at 0654 hours.
A trailer was burglarized at this location and property was stolen that is valued at over $100,000 dollars. Officers conducted a thorough canvas and this investigation remains active.
22-233830 (Vehicle Collision): Garden Hwy / Arden Garden Connector at 2120 hours.
Officers responded to reports of a pedestrian laying in the roadway near the area of Garden Highway / Northgate Blvd. Upon arrival, officers located the pedestrian, an adult female, suffering from major injuries. Officers rendered emergency medical aid before being relieved by SFD personnel who transported the victim to an area hospital in critical condition. Based on the severity of the victim’s injuries, detectives responded to take over the investigation.
August 19, 2022
(Sideshow & Assault on Officers): 3600 block of N Freeway Boulevard at 1953 hours.
There were several reports of a sideshow in the area. Officers responded and there were approximately 300 vehicles involved. An enforcement stop was initiated and a large crowd gathered around the stop. The crowd threw bottles at officers. Additional officers responded to assist and fortunately, none of the officers were injured. Eventually, the crowd dispersed and continued to cause issues throughout the city and county.
(Firearm Arrest): 3600 block of Truxel Road at 2154 hours.
Gang Officers made a traffic stop for vehicle code violations. The driver was in possession of a 9mm handgun. He was safely detained and arrested for the firearm.
August 18, 2022
(Burglary Arrest): 1700 block of N Bend Drive at 0313 hours.
Residents were sleeping when they heard sounds of someone breaking in their house. The residents woke up and confirmed that a suspect had forced his way inside the home. The suspect assaulted a resident after being confronted. The resident protected himself and restrained the suspect until officers arrived. The suspect was safely detained and arrested for burglary.
(Stolen Vehicle Arrest): 300 block of Bowman Avenue at 2256 hours.
A K9 Officer was checking the park and located a stolen vehicle. The driver was safely detained and arrested for auto theft.
August 17, 2022
(Robbery Arrest): 2200 block of Del Paso Road at 0637 hours.
Officers responded to a business regarding a report of a robbery. Responding officers learned that the suspect had stolen items and did not commit a robbery. However, the suspect had committed a robbery recently. The suspect, who is a person experiencing homelessness, was safely detained and arrested.
(Stolen Vehicle): W El Camino Avenue and Truxel Road at 2037 hours.

Patrol officers located a stolen vehicle in the area. The driver was in possession of a loaded firearm and a large amount of amphetamines (see photo). Officers safely detained the driver, and he was arrested on related charges.
(Firearm Arrest): North Market Boulevard and National Drive at 0320 hours.
Patrol officers made a vehicle stop in the area. The driver was in possession of a loaded firearm (see photo). Officers safely detained the driver, and he was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm, along with additional firearm charges.
(Parolee at Large Arrest & Resisting Arrest): 400 block of Harding Avenue at 1538 hours.
Officers responded to a family disturbance at a residence. A computer check showed one family member to be a parolee at large. Responding officers attempted to detain him and he was resistive. He was safely detained and arrested for resisting and his warrant for being a parolee at large.
(Assault Investigation): 2600 block of Stonecreek Drive at 2334 hours.
Two females were involved in a disturbance that led to a stabbing. One female stabbed the other female. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at an area hospital. Responding officers looked for the female suspect and were unable to locate her. A canvas was completed in the area of the stabbing.

(Carjacking): 3500 block of Binghampton Drive at 1606 hours.
A victim was attempting to sell a vehicle and was carjacked. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived. Officers conducted an extensive canvas and located evidence of the crime. This investigation remains active.
(Firearm Arrest): Truxel Road and Gateway Park at 2312 hours.
Gang Officers made a traffic stop in the area. The driver, a validated gang member, was in possession of a loaded firearm (see photo). Officers safely detained the driver, and he was arrested for firearm related charges.

(Shooting Investigation): 4500 block of Natomas Central Drive at 2157 hours.
Officers responded to a shooting in the area. During the primary investigation, officers determined there was a disturbance that led to the shooting. The suspect fled the scene prior to officers arriving. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Officers authored a search warrant related to the shooting. During the service of the search warrant, officers recovered a rifle (see photo). The investigation remains active.

Officers responded to a business after a report of a robbery. The suspect was armed with a knife. Responding officers located the suspect and safely detained him. He was arrested for robbery.

Officers attempted to stop a vehicle and the driver failed to yield. The driver eventually stopped in the area of Bonfield Way and Bluegate Court. He was safely detained and showed signs of being under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested on related charges.

Gang Officers made a traffic stop at this location. The driver was on probation and the officers conducted a search of the vehicle. A passenger was in possession of a loaded firearm (see photo). A computer check showed the firearm to be stolen. The passenger was safely detained and arrested for multiple gun charges, including being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Officers responded to a robbery at gunpoint of a business. Responding officers contacted the employees at the business and learned that the suspect had already fled the area. A canvas was conducted, and this investigation remains active.

(Vehicle Pursuit): Columbus Avenue and American Avenue at 1205 hours.
Patrol Officers attempted to make a traffic stop. The driver took off at a high rate of speed and a vehicle pursuit was initiated. For the safety of the community, due to the high speeds of the driver fleeing, the pursuit was cancelled. The driver ended up crashing the vehicle and all occupants fled on foot. A perimeter was established to look for the occupants; they were not located. Inside the vehicle, officers located catalytic converters, tools to steal catalytic converters and a replica handgun. The vehicle was impounded as evidence.

Officers responded to a report of a suspect who was stealing packages in the area. Officers contacted the described suspect who was found to be driving a reported stolen vehicle. The suspect was arrested for theft and stolen vehicle charges.

Patrol officers made a traffic stop at this location. A passenger was in possession of a loaded firearm (see photo). The passenger was safely detained and arrested for firearm related charges.
22-215301 (Fatal Vehicle Collision): Northgate Blvd / Sotano Dr at 1656 hours.
Officers responded to a report of a vehicle collision involving three vehicles. Five involved subjects were transported to hospitals for medical treatment. One of those involved subjects, an adult female, was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Due to the circumstances of the collision, traffic detectives responded to take over the investigation. The investigation remains active and the exact circumstances of what occurred remain under investigation.

(Vehicle Burglaries): 4100 block of Innovator Drive at 0718 hours.
Fifteen parked vehicles were burglarized overnight. Windows were smashed and property was stolen from them. Officers conducted extensive follow up investigation and this information has been shared with detectives from our Neighborhood Crimes Unit. The investigation of these burglaries remains active.
(Attempted Robbery): 4500 block of Truxel Road at 0938 hours.
A female was walking in the area and two subjects approached her in a vehicle. One subject exited the vehicle and attempted to rob her of personal property. The subject was unable to get the property from the victim and fled the area. Officers conducted a canvas, and this investigation remains active.

Patrol officers made a traffic stop in the area. A passenger was in possession of a loaded firearm (see photo). He was safely detained. The firearm was seized the subject was cited for a firearm charge.

Officers responded to conduct a welfare check on a subject. Officers located the described subject deceased. Officers conducted a death investigation and no suspicious circumstances were observed. A coroner responded to take over the investigation.
22-211499 (Stolen Vehicle – Arrest): Northgate Blvd / San Juan Rd at 2010 hours.
Officers located a stolen vehicle after it traveled through a Police Observation Device. The occupants were safely detained. Officers learned that this vehicle was involved in a burglary in Davis. The driver was arrested for auto theft and the passenger was arrested for a felony warrant. The vehicle was evidence impounded due to the connection of the burglary in Davis.

Multiple callers reported hearing numerous shots fired. Responding officers located significant evidence that confirmed a shooting occurred. A thorough canvas was completed of the area. Officers located damage to multiple residences. The shooting investigation remains active.

Officers located a stolen vehicle which led them on a vehicle pursuit. The driver eventually yielded and was safely detained. The suspect was arrested for related charges.

22-202556 (Gun Arrest): 1500 Block of W El Camino Ave at 0210 hours.
Officers contacted the occupants of a suspicious vehicle and found the driver to have an outstanding warrant. They also located an illegally possessed handgun in the vehicle. The driver was arrested and booked.
(Multiple Vehicle Burglaries): 2800 block of Grassland at 0301 hours.
Multiple vehicles were burglarized in the area. Responding officers conducted a thorough canvas of the area. The suspects left the area prior to officers arriving. Detectives from our Neighborhood Crimes Unit were contacted to conduct follow up investigation.
(Felony Assault Arrest): 2000 block of West El Camino Avenue 0943 hours.
During a domestic violence incident, a male subject stabbed a female multiple times. The female sustained multiple injuries. Officers safely detained the suspect responsible for the stabbing. He was arrested for felony assault.

Officers conducted an enforcement stop on a vehicle. During the investigation, a firearm was located. An occupant was arrested for weapons violations.

A resident called Dispatch to report a person experiencing homelessness in the backyard. Responding officers located the subject. He was safely detained and arrested for prowling.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary at a business. The suspect(s) entered a closed business and stole items from inside. The suspect(s) fled the area and were not located. A crime report was generated.
22-198483 (Vehicle Pursuit – Gun Arrest): Silver Eagle Rd / Mabel St at 0041 hours.
An officer attempted to conduct an enforcement stop on a vehicle. The vehicle fled and led officers on a short, slow-speed pursuit. The vehicle eventually came to a stop and the driver was safely detained. During the investigation, a firearm was located. The driver was arrested for pursuit and weapons violations.

(Explosive Ordinance Investigation): 700 block of Alcantar Circle at 1559 hours.
Officers responded to a residence due to a report of an explosive being placed on the front porch that caused an explosion. Our Explosive Ordinance Detail responded to safely secure the device and complete a thorough investigation. There were no reported injuries, and the investigation remains active.
22-197126 (Shooting – Investigation): 2200 Block of Northgate Blvd at 1720 hours.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting. Evidence of a shooting was located at the scene however no injured parties were located at the scene. Officers later located a victim who sustained non-life-threatening gunshot injuries. Officers canvassed the area for evidence and witnesses. A crime report was generated.

(Firearm Arrest): Pebblewood Drive and Stanhope at 0130 hours.
A patrol officer made a traffic stop for a violation. The driver and a passenger were both in possession of firearms (see photo). They were safely detained and arrested for firearm related charges.
(Felony Assault of a Police Officer): 3500 block of Mobile Way at 1247 hours.
Officers responded to a residence regarding a report of a subject who was causing a disturbance and vandalizing property. Responding officers attempted to make contact with the subject and he was uncooperative. The subject assaulted one officer multiple times. The subject also attempted to disarm the officer. After a violent struggle with this subject, officers were eventually able to safely detain him. One officer was transported to the hospital for injuries sustained form being assaulted. The subject was arrested for multiple charges and also transported the hospital due to an injury sustained during the fight.
(Shooting Investigation) Curran Avenue and Natoma Street at 2055 hours.
A caller reported hearing multiple gunshots and observing a vehicle leaving the area. Responding officers located evidence that confirmed a shooting occurred. There were no reported injuries. A canvas of the area was completed, and the investigation is ongoing.
22-194314 (Shooting Investigation – Gun Arrest): 300 Block of Winterhaven Ave at 2250 hours.
Officers heard the sound of gunshots and responded to the area. Once on scene, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle leaving the area with no lights on. The two juvenile occupants were safely detained and an illegally possessed handgun was located. Both juveniles were arrested and booked for related charges.

22-192520 (Pursuit & Gun Arrest): Northgate Blvd / Haggin Ave at 0254 hours.
Patrol officers attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle and the driver fled. A vehicle pursuit was initiated. For the safety of the community, the officers discontinued pursuing the driver because he traveled at speeds of approximately 100 miles per hour. The vehicle was later located by the California Highway Patrol and the driver was in possession of a loaded handgun (see photo). The juvenile driver was safely detained and arrested for firearm charges and felony evading.

22-192387 (Foot Pursuit – Gun Arrest): 1600 Block of W El Camino Ave at 2257 hours.
Patrol officers observed a subject in a parking lot of a business. The subject was acting suspicious, and officers made contact with him. As officers talked with the subject, he fled on foot. He was safely detained after discarding a loaded firearm (see photo). The subject was arrested for firearm charges and resisting arrest.

(Shooting Investigation): Northgate Boulevard and Northview at 1640 hours and 1835 hours.
Officers responded due to a report of a subject shooting at a parked vehicle. Then, Dispatch received multiple calls regarding a shooting in the area. Responding officers located evidence of the shooting. The suspect fled the area after the shooting. There were no reported injuries. The investigation remains active.
(Brandishing and Resisting Arrest): Northview Drive and Northfield Drive at 2349 hours.
Officers responded to the area due to a report of a vehicle collision and a person outside of an involved vehicle holding a rifle. Responding officers attempted to make contact with the subject and he fled on foot, while holding the rifle. Officers were able to safely detain him without using force. The rifle was determined to be an air soft gun (see photo). Officers determined the subject brandished the firearm prior to their arrival. The subject, an active gang member, was arrested for brandishing, resisting arrest and hit and run.

(Arrests for Multiple Firearms): Truxel Road and Natomas Crossing Drive at 0203 hours.
A patrol officer heard a gunshot in the area and observed three subjects nearby. The officer contacted and detained three juveniles (15, 15, and 17 years old) in the area. During the contact, one of the juveniles was found to in possession of a loaded and concealed handgun. Additional officers responded to assist with the investigation and located two additional discarded handguns and an expended shell casing in the immediate area. Based on the investigation, all three juveniles were arrested for related charges.
July 7, 2022
(Traffic Accident): 3500 block of Del Paso Rd at 2213 hours.
Officers received reports that multiple vehicles were involved in a collision in the area of Del Paso Rd and Natomas Central Dr. One involved vehicle struck a median and debris from that vehicle struck another passing vehicle. According to SacFire, one vehicle rolled over into a tree. Two males patients were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. While alcohol was not a factor in the collision, the exact cause and circumstances remain under investigation.

Officers conducted an enforcement stop on a vehicle. During the investigation, three firearms were located. Three occupants were arrested for weapons violations.

22-185770 (Vehicle Pursuit – Arrest): 100 Block of Martis Valley Cir / Club Center Dr & Natomas Blvd at 0956 hours.
Dispatch received a report of a female acting strange. Responding officers attempted to contact her. She entered her vehicle and drove away. After a brief vehicle pursuit, the female abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot. She was safely detained without any use of force and arrested for felony evading.

(Attempted Robbery Arrest): 4700 block of Natomas Boulevard at 1441 hours.
Two subjects stole from a business and then attempted to rob a separate business. One subject fled on foot and forced her way into a vehicle that was being driven in the area. Officers stopped the vehicle and safely detained the female. She was arrested on related charges.

22-183890 (Robbery – Investigation): 3500 Block of Loggerhead Way / 3600 block of Duckhorn Drive at 0758 hours.
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The suspects assaulted the victim and stole the victim’s personal property. The suspects fled the area and were not located. A crime report was generated.
(Multiple Burglary Arrest): 100 block of Promenade Circle at 0728 hours.
A male and female committed a burglary at a hotel. They were both detained and connected to multiple burglaries. Officers conducted a thorough investigation and recovered some property that was stolen. Detectives from our Neighborhood Crimes Unit continue to conduct follow up investigation on these cases.
