May 24, 2020
20-156292 (Threats – Arrest): 1500 block of Dreamy Way at 2200 hours.
Officers responded to a report of a disturbance where the suspect threatened the victims and mentioned a handgun. The threat was made during an argument between the victim and suspect. The suspect was detained, and a firearm was recovered during the investigation. The suspect was arrested.

May 22, 2020
20-154225 (Pursuit – Arrest): Arena Boulevard and East Commerce Way at 2243 hours.
Officers initiated an enforcement stop on a vehicle and the driver failed to yield. A vehicle pursuit ensued and eventually ended in the 3800 block of Duckhorn Drive. All three occupants of the vehicle were detained. Officers located two firearms inside of the vehicle. All three subjects were arrested.

20-150942 (Trespassing – Arrest): 3300 block of Airport Road at 0228 hours.
Officers responded to a report of a burglary alarm. Officers arrived on scene and detained two suspects who were still on the property. The property owner arrived on scene and could not find any signs of entry or theft. The suspects were cited for trespassing.

20-150956 (Warrant – Arrest): 3300 block of Airport Road at 0322 hours.
Officers located a suspicious vehicle and contacted the occupants. One suspect was found to have an active felony warrant and was arrested.

20-150505 (Missing Person): 2800 block of Myotis Drive at 1740 hours.
Officers responded for a report of a missing juvenile. Officers began searching for the juvenile who was located safe at a friend’s home. The MP was returned home.

20-149675 (Burglary- arrest): 3300 block of Holly Branch Ct at 2249 hours.
Officers responded to reports of a burglary in progress. When officers arrived, they identified the subject, who had fled the area on foot. The subject was detained without incident.

20-147799 (Warrant – Arrest): 2100 block of Natomas Crossing Drive at 0613 hours
Officers conducted an enforcement stop on a pedestrian. The subject had an active felony warrant and was arrested.

20-148257 (Robbery – Investigation): 3300 block of Holly Branch Court at 1738 hours
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The suspects brandished a handgun and demanded personal items from the victim. The victim was uninjured during the incident. The suspects fled in a vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.

20-147364 (Stolen Vehicle – Arrest): 2000 block of West El Camino Avenue at 2004 hours.
Officers located an occupied stolen vehicle in the area. The driver was taken into custody with the assistance of a police K9, when he tried to flee on foot from officers. The suspect was arrested.

Officers stopped a suspicious vehicle. One occupant was arrested for a probation violation and being in possession of a firearm.

Officers responded to a report of a suspect swinging a stick at customer. The suspect was arrested without incident. Another victim was identified and was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.

20-127352 (Warrant – Arrest): 2400 block of Northgate Boulevard at 0920 hours.
Officers identified a parolee-at-large, and arrested the subject without incident.

20-127345 (Burglary – Arrest): 3900 block of Pell Circle at 0908 hours.
An officer identified a suspicious vehicle, and the driver was identified as a suspect in a series of burglaries. The suspect was arrested.

20-126344 (Collision – Investigation): Truxel Road and Terracina Drive at 1106 hours.
Officers responded to the scene of a single vehicle collision. The occupants were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

20-127061 (Fatal Collision – Investigation): Del Paso Road and East Levee Road at 2259 hours.
Officers responded to the scene of a single vehicle collision. The driver of the scooter was declared deceased on-scene. Detectives were called to the scene and determined that the driver struck a closed gate on East Levee Road.

20-124866 (Carjacking – Investigation): 900 block of El Camino Avenue at 2235 hours.
Officers responded to a report of a carjacking. The victim reported that he was assaulted, and his vehicle was stolen. Officers generated a crime report.

20-121987 (Burglary – Arrest): 2100 block of Natomas Crossing Drive at 1104 hours.
Officers located a suspect inside a location after responding to a report of a burglary in progress. The suspect was arrested and booked at Main Jail.

Business Burglar Caught Red-Handed
Sacramento Police received a 911 call from the business owner who interrupted a burglary in progress at Pearl Image Nails. According to police Capt. Steve Oliveira, the caller and her husband held the suspect at bay until officers arrived. The suspect reportedly forced entry through an exterior electrical room door and then cut his way through interior walls. An ATM machine inside the business had been tampered with. The suspect had a number of tools, including an angle grinder. Since most businesses in the shopping center on Natomas Crossing are closed due to the COVID-19 Public Health Order, Oliveira said the suspect didn’t expect to be interrupted. The suspected was arrested and transported to the Sacramento County Jail where he was booked on Burglary and Looting during a Declared State of Emergency charges. Neighborhood Crimes Unit detectives believe the same suspect was similar burglary earlier in the month and are following up, Oliveira said.

Officers responded to reports of a robbery at a local business. The subject was identified and arrested in the vicinity.

20-120266 (Felony Assault – Arrest): 3200 block of Northgate Boulevard at 1813 hours.
Officers responded to a felony assault where the victim sustained major injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive. The investigation led to the arrest of a suspect who was booked at Main Jail.

20-116906 (DUI – Arrest): Northgate Boulevard and Rio Tierra Avenue at 1424 hours.
Officers responded to a call regarding a vehicle collision. One of the drivers fled the scene but was located and was determined to be DUI. The driver of the other vehicle was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers located a stolen vehicle after it alerted on a POD.  The driver was taken into custody without incident.

Officers responded to a report of a vehicle that had collided with parked vehicles. The driver was found to be DUI, and transported to a local hospital for treatment. A warrant for the driver’s arrest was issued.

Units responded to a call regarding a suspicious subject. A pursuit ensued and ended at an apartment. The suspect was located and cited.

Officers responded to a reported robbery. The suspects brandished a firearm and attempted to rob the victim of personal items. The suspects were unsuccessful and fled. Officers generated a crime report.

March 3, 2020
20-069751 (Pursuit): Del Paso Road and I-5 at 0251 hours.
Officers received a call regarding a subject who may be in mental health crisis and had left the residence in a vehicle. Officers located the vehicle, and subject, in the area of Del Paso Road and I-5. During the contact with the man, the subject fled in a vehicle leading officers on a pursuit. The pursuit terminated in the area of Marina View and Broadway where the subject exited the vehicle, armed with a firearm. Officers negotiated with the subject, and at least one gunshot was fired by the subject. Officers developed a tactical plan to approach the subject. When officers contacted the subject, he was found to have sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The subject was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The subject was later declared deceased by hospital personnel. No officers discharged their firearms, and no officers were injured during the incident.

Officers responded to a residence to locate a suspect with a felony warrant. Officers located the suspect at the residence and arrested him.

Officers responded to a report of a vehicle burglary. A neighbor heard sounds of a car being broken into, but the suspect(s) fled prior to police arrival. Officers located one victim and generated a crime report.

20-060708 (Vehicle Burglary – Investigation): 2200 block of Glenrio Way at 0723 hours.
Officers responded to a report of a vehicle break in. When officers arrived on scene they located approximately 15 vehicles that had been broken into. It is believed that the burglaries occurred overnight. Officers generated a crime report and conducted a neighborhood canvass for evidence.

20-058385 (Vehicle Burglary – Arrest): 2500 block of Burnaby Way at 0008 hours.
Officers responded to a report of suspicious subjects who appeared to be casing vehicles to break into. Officers arrived on scene and detained both suspects. Officers investigated and were able to locate three vehicles that were broken into. The suspects were arrested. One suspect was a juvenile and was booked at Juvenile Hall.

20-058454 (Shooting – Investigation): Northglen Street and West El Camino Avenue at 0154 hours.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting. Officers located the victim who had sustained at least one gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive the injuries. Officers conducted a neighborhood canvass and processed the scene. The investigation is ongoing.

20-058505 (Burglary – Arrest): 800 block of Rancho Roble Way at 0310 hours.
Officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress. Officers arrived on scene and located two suspects who were detained. Officers located a third suspect in a neighboring backyard. All three suspects were arrested after an investigation into the incident. Two suspects were booked at Main Jail. The other suspect was a juvenile, and booked at Juvenile Hall.

Officers responded regarding a robbery. The suspect brandished a weapon and demanded money. The suspect fled the scene with an undetermined amount of money. There were no injuries to victims.

20-057582 (Robbery – Investigation): 2200 block of Northgate Boulevard at 1152 hours.
Officers responded to a report of a robbery that had occurred at gunpoint. The suspect fled with an undetermined amount of money. Nobody was injured during the incident. Officers generated a crime report.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress. Officers arrived on scene, but the suspect had already fled. Officers generated a crime report, and conducted a neighborhood canvass for witnesses.

Officers responded to a report of multiple vehicle burglaries that had occurred overnight. Officers conducted a canvass, and generated a crime report.

Officers responded to a report of vehicle burglaries that had occurred overnight. Officers located three vehicles that were broken into. Officers generated a crime report.

20-050509 (Assault – Investigation): 3500 block of Truxel Road at 2311 hours.
Officers responded to a report of juveniles fighting in the parking lot. Several juveniles were detained, and all denied prosecution for what had occurred. The juveniles were released to parents or guardians.

20-046895 (Firearm – Arrest): 5000 block of Winamac Drive at 2255 hours.
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious parked vehicle. When officers contacted the occupants of the vehicle they located two firearms and evidence indicating sales of marijuana. The suspects were arrested and booked at Main Jail.

20-046172 (Shooting – Arrest): 100 block of Estes Way at 1027 hours.
Officers responded to the 100 block of Estes Way after a reported a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and located the victim in the area. The victim sustained no injury. Officers also located his vehicle that had been shot at. A suspect was detained leaving the area, and officers investigated the incident. An investigation revealed that the suspect had shot at the victim after a dispute. There were no injuries to any persons from this incident. The suspect was arrested and will be booked into Main Jail. As a precaution Glenwood Elementary was placed into lockdown, due to proximity of the shooting.

20-044451 (Robbery – Investigation): 2700 block of Millcreek Drive at 1652 hours.
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The suspect brandished a handgun and stole personal property from the victim. The victim was not injured. Officers generated a crime report.

Feb. 4, 2020
20-038013 (Pursuit – Arrest): West El Camino and Northgate Boulevard at 0949 hours.
Officers located a wanted vehicle near the intersection of West El Camino and Northgate. The vehicle was involved in an incident that occurred in Milpitas, CA. When officers got behind the vehicle, the vehicle fled, and a pursuit was initiated. The short pursuit continued to the area of West El Camino and Azevedo Dr, where the suspect vehicle collided with an uninvolved vehicle. The driver of the uninvolved vehicle sustained minor injury. The suspect attempted to flee on foot, but was detained shortly after. The suspect was taken into custody for pursuit charges.

Officers located a stolen vehicle that was being driven in the area. The driver was detained and arrested.

20-032358 (Vehicle Burglary – Investigation): 4800 block of Kokomo Drive at 1010 hours.
Officers were conducting follow up on some car burglaries that had occurred in the area after they had identified a potential suspect. When officers attempted contact with the suspect he fled. The juvenile suspect was detained and arrested. The investigation is ongoing.

20-031853 (Vehicle Burglary – Arrest): 2000 block of Arena Boulevard at 2026 hours.
Officers responded to a vehicle burglary that occurred at an apartment complex. Officers arrived on scene and located two suspects. The suspects fled on foot but were quickly detained. Both suspects were found to be juveniles and were arrested for burglary.

20-029760 (Stolen Vehicle – Arrest): East Commerce and North Park at 0446 hours.
Officers located a stolen vehicle being driven in the area. Officers safely detained the driver who was arrested and booked at Main Jail.

20-030534 (Pursuit – Arrest): West El Camino Avenue and Northglen Street at 1731 hours.
Officers initiated an enforcement stop on a vehicle. The vehicle fled from officers and a short vehicle pursuit ensued. The suspect vehicle struck an uninvolved vehicle and was disabled. There was minor damage to the uninvolved vehicle, and minor injury to the occupants of the uninvolved vehicle. The occupants of the suspect vehicle immediately fled on foot. Two of the occupants were detained almost immediately. The third suspect was able to flee on foot. Officers located a loaded firearm in the vehicle. The two suspects that were detained were arrested on various pursuit and firearms charges. The investigation is ongoing.

20-028157 (Hit and Run – Investigation): 3200 block of Northgate Boulevard at 1644 hours.
Officers responded to a hit and run collision involving a power pole. The collision occurred the power pole to fall. The driver fled the scene. A hit and run collision report was generated.

20-028078 (Death Investigation): American River Bike Trail and Hwy 160 at 1502 hours.
Officers responded regarding a body that was located in the area. A death investigation was initiated and there were no signs of foul play. A preliminary investigation revealed that the body belonged to Alexander Holden who has been reported missing. The investigation was turned over to the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.

20-025187 (Stolen Vehicle – Arrest): 3500 block of Truxel Road at 0012 hours.
Officers located a stolen vehicle being driven in the area. Officers stopped the vehicle and the driver was detained. The suspect was found to have active warrants and was arrested for driving the stolen vehicle.

Officers responded to a report of a theft from a business. The suspect was attempting to steal items from the business. Employees interrupted the suspect. Officers arrived on scene and arrested the suspect.

20-022460 (Stolen Vehicle – Arrest): W El Camino avenue and Truxel Road at 1622 hours.
Officers responded to a stolen vehicle being driven in the area. The vehicle was believed to be taken in a carjacking. Officers located the vehicle and were able to stop the vehicle. The juvenile driver was arrested and booked at Juvenile Hall.

Officers responded to a report of a vehicle theft. The victim was assaulted and had his vehicle stolen from him. The victim sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Officers generated a crime report. The investigation is ongoing.​

20-013220 (DUI- Arrest): 2400 block of Northgate blvd at 0225 hours.
Officers responded to the report of a vehicle collision into a building. Upon arrival the suspect had fled the scene on foot. Nobody in the building was injured. Responding officers located a suspect matching the description in the area. The suspect was arrested for DUI charges and hit and run charges.

Officers responded to the report of an alarm at a business. Upon arrival officers observed a window had been broken out. A crime report was generated, and the investigation is ongoing.

20-010902 (Shooting – Investigation): Cleveland Avenue and Northgate Boulevard at 1854 hours.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting. Witnesses told responding officers that two vehicles appeared to be shooting each at each other. There were no victims located. Officers conducted a neighborhood canvass and generated a crime report.

20-009795 (DUI- Arrest): 3100 block of Normington dr at 2010 hours.
Officers responded to the report of a vehicle collision into a house. Upon arrival officers determined that the driver was DUI. The driver of the vehicle had no injuries. Nobody inside the house had any injuries. The driver was arrested for DUI charges.

20-008503 (Robbery- Arrest): 3000 block of Truxel rd at 1744 hours.
Officers were doing follow-up investigation of a robbery. While doing follow-up officers located the vehicle involved and did an enforcement stop. 4 suspects were arrested for robbery charges.

Officers responded to the report of multiple car burglaries. A crime report was generated, and the investigation is ongoing.

19-419457 (Firearms- Arrest): Stonecreek Dr/ Brewerton Dr. at 2151 hours.
Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. During their investigation officers located a firearm inside the vehicle. The driver was arrested.

Officers responded to a call of a burglary. Upon arrival officers determined that a burglary had occurred. A crime report was generated, and the investigation is ongoing.

19-417229 (Robbery – Investigation): 3600 block of North Freeway Boulevard at 1752 hours.
Officers responded to a report of suspects stealing items from a business. Store security confronted the suspects, who brandished a handgun at security. The suspects then fled the area in a vehicle. Officers generated a crime report.

Officers contacted a suspicious person attempting to enter an apartment complex. Officers contacted the suspect and found him to have three felony warrants. The suspect was taken into custody.
