That is so awesome. My wife had the opportunity to tour the District of Columbia about ten years ago during a business trip — what an amazing place.
From those photos, it is obvious those kids had a great enlightening experience. I’m sure they’ll always remember it.
I’ve gotta hand it to the leadership team who successfully raised funds making it possible for 28 middle school students, 1 teacher and 7 parents to go on this trip. I witnessed just a small segment of those efforts — I’m sure they lost count of all the cars they washed to make this trip a reality.
It’s very rewarding to see those efforts pay off. Congratulations to all who participated!
Thank you Buzz for posting these photos. The kids were great and they did an outstanding job representing our community. They proudly told anyone who was interested that they are from Sacramento, California and that they are students of Natomas Middle School.
They worked hard and earned the trip – thank you to all of you who ate pancakes, got your car washed, bought a pizza, made a donation or in any way helped make this possible for these students.
They will never forget the experience.
