Semi-official results from yesterday’s election are now available online and accurate as of 1:48 a.m. this morning, according to Brad Buyse, Campaign Services Manager for Sacramento County.
Final results will be available on the same website when the Canvass of the Vote – which begins today and runs consequently for 28 days until complete – is finished, said Buyse. Currently, incumbent Ray Tretheway trails behind challenger Angelique Ashby.
Ashby will need 50% of the votes cast – plus one – to win and avoid a runoff election in November.
