Natomas Cops Log – May 28, 2015

Incidents are from shifts starting May 27, 2015:

15-148490 (Shots Fired): 700 block of San Juan Rd at 2251 hours.
Officers responded to the call of a residence that was shot at. Officers arrived on scene and located one bullet hole in the front window. No injuries were reported.


15-147721 (Robbery): 3600 block of Truxel Rd at 0915 hours.
Officers responded to the report of a robbery. The suspect entered the business, stole miscellaneous merchandise and fled on foot. When employees attempted to intervene, the suspect assaulted them. No major injuries were reported. The suspect fled the scene prior to officers arriving. The investigation is still ongoing.


15-148023 (Robbery): 3500 block of Del Paso Rd at 1409 hours.
Officers responded to the report of a robbery. Two suspects entered the business, stole merchandise and fled the scene on foot prior to officers arriving. The investigation remains active.

Incidents are from shifts starting May 26, 2015:

15-147083 (Robbery): 2000 block of Club Center Dr at 1710 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a robbery. Two men reportedly entered the business armed with a blunt object and took property from the business. No injuries were reported the suspects fled on foot. Follow-up was conducted and a report was generated.


15-146583 (Burglary): 3200 block of Northview Dr at 0940 hours.
Officers responded regarding a report of two men burglarizing the home. Officers quickly arrived and detained both suspects who had forced entry into the residence. They were both arrested for burglary.


15-146713 (Burglary): 3200 block of Miramonte Dr at 1147 hours.
Officers responded regarding a report of three juveniles who attempted to burglarize the residence. Officers quickly arrived in the area, but did not locate the suspects. A burglary report was generated.

Incidents are from shifts starting May 25, 2015:

15-145957 (Weapons Disturbance): W El Camino Ave / Truxel Rd at 1614 hours.
Officers responded to the area regarding a report of a weapons disturbance. An unknown suspect reportedly pointed a handgun at the victim from a vehicle as the victim drove her own car near the location. Officers later located the suspect and vehicle at a residence and he was detained and identified. During a search, a handgun was found and the suspect was arrested on several charges.


15-146090 (DUI): 3500 block of Northgate Blvd at 1840 hours.
Officers responded to the area regarding a possible intoxicated driver. The vehicle was located and the occupants were detained. During a search of the car, a handgun and drugs were found. The driver of the car was arrested on drug charges, suspicion of DUI, and other related offenses.


15-145603 (Burglary): 5500 block of Banderas Ct at 0906 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding suspicious subjects who had just entered the home and fled in a vehicle. Upon arrival, a K9 officer spotted the suspect vehicle and it immediately fled. Following a short pursuit, the car came to a stop, hitting a fixed object, and all of the occupants escaped on foot. After a perimeter was established, four suspects were located and arrested on burglary-related charges and follow-up is being conducted.
