Natomas Cops Log – May 20, 2015

Incidents are from shifts starting May 19, 2015:

15-139246 (Burglary ): 400 block of Lyman Cir at 1353 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a burglary. Unknown suspect(s) entered the home through an unlocked door, stole property and fled the area. The investigation is still underway.


15-139457 (Burglary): 5300 block of Dasco Way at 1700 hours.
Officers responded to the report of a burglary. Unknown suspect(s) broke a window into the home, stolen miscellaneous property and fled prior to officers arriving on scene. The investigation remains active.


15-139329 (Burglary): 3600 block of Truxel Rd at 1457 hours.
Officers responded to the report of a burglary to a business. Suspect(s) cut the lock on the gate while the business was closed, stole merchandise items and fled. The investigation remains active.


15-139137 (Child Neglect): 2900 block of Truxel Rd at 1203 hours.
Officers responded to the above area regarding a possible child neglect incident. The described vehicle was located with two children ages 5 years and an infant inside the van. The environment for the children was unsafe and Child Protective Services were notified. The investigation is ongoing.

Incidents are from shifts starting May 18, 2015:

15-138665 (Assault): 4400 block of Gateway Park Blvd at 2211 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of an assault. Following an altercation amongst family members within the apartment, the suspect retrieved a knife and assaulted a relative who sustained a minor injury. The suspect fled from the residence, but was later located and arrested by police for assault.


15-138261 (Welfare Check): 1800 block of Garden Hwy at 1429 hours.
Officers responded to the above location regarding a welfare check. Upon arrival, officers located a subject with an apparent self-inflicted injury. A report was generated.


15-138553 (Theft): 1500 block of W El Camino Ave at 1959 hours.
Officers responded to the above location regarding a report of a theft. The suspect reportedly took the victim’s property after she left the area and then fled in a vehicle. A report was generated.


15-138517 (Burglary): 500 block of Allaire Cir at 1912 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of a burglary. An unknown suspect entered a garage while the victim was in the backyard, took property, and fled on foot. A report was generated and follow-up was conducted.


15-138617 (DUI): 2400 block of Northgate Blvd at 2111 hours.
Officers responded to the above location regarding a report of a possible DUI driver. Officers located the vehicle, made contact with the driver, and he was arrested for suspicion of DUI.
