Officer Michele Gigante, spokesperson for the Sacramento Police Department, confirmed the fixed camera mounted in late September at the intersection of Truxel and San Juan roads has been removed from that location.
Gigante said the Police Observation Device – or POD – has been relocated to the intersection of Truxel Road and Gateway Park Boulevard. The camera and its flashing blue light is now visible in front of the Natomas Marketplace Shopping Center.
