Maestro’s Cafe & Gallery in Natomas is now operating under new ownership.

Mother-and-daughter team Ruth Graves and Ravyn Graves now run the independent coffeehouse which previously operated as Maestro Coffeehouse & Gallery.

The pair took over ownership at the beginning of the month.

Maestro’s menu remains unchanged, according to Ruth Graves, but the cafe is expanding its offering of edibles such as fresh Hungry Bear cookies prepared on site, croissants and muffins from Golden Donuts in Elk Grove, and quiche from Mrs. T’s Good To Go Cafe in south Natomas.

Graves said the cafe will continue to double as an art gallery, displaying works by local artists with new exhibits switching out every second Saturday of the month.

Weekend chess games continue every Saturday at the shop, she said.

The Graves are planning grand opening festivities for September 5-6 to celebrate the new ownership. New drinks will be introduced, food samples, live music and more.

Maestro Cafe & Galley is located at 2069 Arena Boulevard, in Suite 130. It is open 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. (916) 285-7772

I went for the first time last Saturday. I ordered a Breakfast Panini and a Chai Tea. Both items were delicious!! What really impressed me was the friendliness of the owner Ruth Graves and the warm and inviting ambiance of the place. 5 stars!!!
