A packed house was on hand for The GreenHouse’s “Kids At Heart 2012” community awards, auction and dinner June 1 in the Artisan Building on Del Paso Boulevard.
The following volunteers, community partners, sponsors and two youngsters were recognized during the festivities:
Judy Carlson – The Heart of Service Award
Rey and Luis Duque – The Heart of the Future Award
Sacramento Waldorf School – The Heart of Collaboration Award
Tim & Cindy Burke and M& M Whitmire Family – The Heart of Generosity Award
The event featured the sale of original artwork by GreenHouse student participants, silent auction and highly competitive dessert auction – the decadent chocolate-chocolate cake alone yielded a winning bid of $575.
