A standing-room only crowd packed the Inderkum High School theater Tuesday night to protest employee layoffs and management pay raises in the Natomas Unified School District. By the end of the four-hour meeting, school board members had voted overwhelmingly to pink slip dozens of employees in March and give management raises effective July 1.
