The Inderkum High School Tigers moved on to the second round of football playoffs as they defeated the McNair Eagles 69-14.
The game marked the most points the Tigers’ offense scored all year. The victory wasn’t much of a surprise as McNair was a .500 team.
Play on the field will likely get tougher next week as the Tigers face off against the defending state football champions, the Folsom High School. The Bulldogs defeated the Rio Linda High School Knights 56-19 last night.
The sixth-seeded Bulldogs are 3-2 on the road this year. The Tigers, seeded third, are 5-1 at home.
The next playoff game will be 7 p.m. at Inderkum High on Friday, Nov. 18.
